I have already sent in written #estimony in favor of closing Lihiwai to vehicular
traffic. f~owever, after reading the letters from those who desire vehicular access, t
would like to add the following:
1) Closing uhfwai would benefit rather than harm the disabled because the entire
roadway would be theirs to use safely. Vehicular access on this stretch of
roadway Is disruptive to those who sincerely want to enioy the peace and
ambiance of the area.
2) l also suffer from an imbal®nce problem, which is further exacerbated by noise
dnd mov®ment from passing vehicles. Closing i.ihlwai therefore keeps vehicles
dt is non~thredtening distance from people like m® who suffer from th® same
pr®biem.
3) The sketch below mqy help the county accommodate disabled parking
without opening Lihiwoi.
