'The park is so beautiful and restful and we have seen many more people enjoying the walks while the road has been closed. The tourist buses have been parking by the gate on Banyan Drive and tourists have been able to walk directly into the park. The road being closed has not hampered the tourist activity. Hotel guests have talked about how much they have enjoyed the park since it is so delightful to get away from the traffic. It does not appear that handicapped persons arc barred from the park. There are nice entrances that provide easy access-especially by the "IceHouse" there are no steps. The whole pazk can be negotiated by a handicapped person, in a wheel chair. And frequent benches provide resting places for those with canes. Actually, if cars wereallowed to park on the ocean side, they would block the view across the Bay and the mountins. Cars are EVERYWHERE it is a relief to find a place where it is quiet away from boomboxes and roars of motorbikes, and hotrods. Sincere Regards, Q¢ ~aa~4y ~eae9~ ,mot; " ~ Norma E. Godfrey Cornrri.
