This allows the police department to enforce traffic regulations within the private roads after traffic regulations are codified and appropriate traffic control devices are installed. The Nanawale Community Association, Inc. (NCA) requested that the attached traffic regulations for private streets within the Nanawale Estates Subdivision be codified. The bill also includes portions of the County highways which are not presently included in the County traffic code. A location map is attached. We ask for your review and consideration for adoption of the subject amendment as described in the attached draft for an ordinance. Should you have any questions, please contact Richard Nishimura, Traffic Division Chief at 961-8341. ,n , _ , ~ lC ~ w . ~ APPROVED: DENNIS K. W. LEE, P.E.
