RE: Department of Liquor Control Budget Request
Position No. 2114, Supervising Liquor Control Investigator
We submit the following in response to a letter dated May 10, 2001, from Gary
Yoshiyama, Division Chief from HGEA.
The department does not have any objection to the reinstatement of Position No. 2114,
which is an unfunded position.
We request the retention of the administrative officer position. As aself-funded agency,
our proposed budget intends to fund proposed expenditures.
We confirm that the department has not yet completed its plan for reorganization, which
must be submitted to and approved by Mayor Harry Kim prior to us proceeding with such plan.
We expect to submit this in FY 2001-2002.
