Did anyone do cony research on th® web to find out what kinds of tr®ffic calming alternatives are out there9839 You ar® going to find that the ryason this roundabout is costing mor® than a traffic sight is because the intersection must be level®d so vs to provide the n~ded site distance for cars that are approach(ng fr®rv~ ail 4 directions. When the road is steep, then it requires way more leveling work than if the roadway w®re on a fleet surface already. e4s a lay person who has spent a lot of time since 1998, teaming about traffic calming devices, I am apppAed that the council is pu44ing this roundabout item on the budget without proper public input.
