Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 40, reports as follows:
Bill No. 40, transmitted by Director of Finance William T. Takaba, via Communication No. 150, dated
March 6, 2001, amends Ordinance No. 00-63, as amended, the Operating Budget, ending June 30, 2001.
The amendment is as follows:

020-281-5281.06 Traffic Division Equip Highway $ 40,000
020-281-5281.32 Street Lights Highway $100,000
020-301-5301.02 Highway Maint Admin- OCE Highway $140,000
020-301-5301.76 Roadside Maintenance SVC Highway $200,000
020-801-5801.34 Trans to Cap Proj Fund - H Highway $400,000
These funds will be used for additional funding in the Traffic Division's Equipment and Street Lights
accounts, Highways Division's Administrative OCE and roadside maintenance SVC accounts; and the
Transfer to Capital Project Fund -Highway account.
Some members of Your Committee were concerned with the increase of funding for the completion of
the Kona Baseyard and requested that Public Works provide more information prior to the next Council
meeting.
For informational purposes, Mr. Tyler voted kanalua then no, and Ms. Pisicchio voted kanalua twice.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 40 and recommends it
pass first reading.
