Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 43, reports as follows:
Bill No. 43, transmitted jointly with Bill No. 42 by Director of Finance William T. Takaba, via
Communication No. 152, dated March 6, 2001, amends Ordinance No. 00-64, as amended, the
Capital Budget ending June 30, 2001, by adding the following project:
PARKS & RECREATION:
Waimea Trails and Greenways -Park Dedication 110-599-5594.43 $56,204.65
Funds for this project shall be provided from Park Dedication Fund.
The aforementioned funds will be used to purchase supplemental planning and design services
for the Waimea Trails and Greenways project. The supplemental services include the planning
and design of a donated 8-acre park site and the surveying and design of an alternate equestrian
trail alignment.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 43 and
recommends it pass first reading.
