Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 33, reports as follows:
Bill No. 33, transmitted by Director of Finance William T. Takaba, via Communication No. 126,
dated February 16, 2001, amends Ordinance No. 00-64, as amended, the Capital Budget ending
June 30, 2001, by adding the following project:
PUBLIC WORKS:
Flood Disaster Projects -County Match 110-299-5299.36 $2,000,000
Funds for this project shall be provided from:
Transfer to Capital Project Fund $1,500,000
General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund -
Fund Balance and/or Other Sources $ 500,000
Funds will be used for the County's share of federally funded flood disaster projects.
Bill No. 33, Draft 2 was referred to Your Committee via Communication No. 126.1, dated
March 1, 2001 from Director of Finance William T. Takaba, which amended Section 2 to read
General Fund in lieu of Transfer to Capital Project Fund.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 33, Draft 2, and
recommends it pass first reading.
