Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 34, reports as follows:
Bill No. 34, transmitted jointly with Resolution No. 57-O1 by Director of Finance
William T. Takaba, via Communication No. 129, dated August 9, 2000, amends Ordinance
No. 00-63, as amended, the Operating Budget, ending June 30, 2001. The amendment is as
follows:

3302.71 Federal Grants -Project PAU General $149,000
To:
010-251-5251.41 Project PAU General $149,000
The grant funds from the Department of Human Services, Office of Youth Services, of the State
of Hawaii will be used by the Department of Liquor Control to provide enforcement for
underage drinking laws and hiring of a coordinator.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 34 and
recommends it pass first reading.
