Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 66-01, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 66-01, transmitted by Director of Finance William T. Takaba, via
Communication No. 162, dated March 19, 2001, increases the time element for Position
No. 20004 County Physician 1 /2 time to full time.
Presently, there area 1/2 time County Physician and two 1/4 time Assistant County Physician
positions in East Hawaii. Increasing the time element for the aforementioned position will
improve scheduling and coordination, and will make it easier for departments to handle their
personnel needs.
Funds are available in the County Physicians Regular Salaries and Wages account.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 66-01
and recommends its adoption.
