We are transmitting for the Council's review and consideration for acceptance a copy of
the above agreement and license, along with a resolution accepting the same.
This involves the County's parking lot located to the rear of the old bowling alley
building in Kainaliu. The building (KRC property) has roof overhangs over the driveway leading
to the parking lot, while portions of the sidewalk and retaining wall are encroaching onto KRC
property. The mutual grants of easements will resolve encroachment and title problems.
Upon acceptance of the above agreement, please send notification of such acceptance
to: (1) KRC, INC., c/o Colin L. Love, Esq., P. O. Box 2072, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii 96745;
(2) William Takaba, Director of Finance, County of Hawaii; (3) Dennis K.W. Lee, Director,
Department of Public Works; and (4) Gerald Takase, Deputy Corporation Counsel, who will
record the said agreement and license with the Bureau of Conveyances.
