Re: Resolution Accepting Donation
Enclosed is a resolution accepting sixteen (16) rescue tubes and seven (7)
training rescue boards from the Hawaii Lifeguard Association, c/o 2349
Kalaniana`ole Avenue, Hilo, Hawaii 96720, for use by the County Aquatics'
Junior Lifeguard Training Programs. The estimated value of this donation is
$641.36 for the rescue tubes and $2,442.69 for the rescue boards.

A. REQUEST:
To accept a donation of 16 rescue tubes and 7 training rescue boards from the
Hawaii Lifeguard Association.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
The Hawaii Lifeguard Association has donated16 rescue tubes and 7 training
rescue boards to the Aquatics Division. Donated items will be used for the
Junior Lifeguard Training Programs in Puna, Hilo, South Kohala and Kona.
Total value of the rescue tubes is $641.36 and the total value of the rescue
boards is $2,442.69.
