SUBJECT: MARIJUANA ERADICATION MISSION -MAY 21-25, 2001
The Hawaii Police Department conducted a marijuana eradication mission from May 21-25,
2001.
As required by Resolution No. 46-01, reports indicating the number of plants eradicated and the
number of complaints received from the public, the type of complaint and the complaint
disposition are attached.

Caller reported /ova flying helicopter. Upon further inquiry, caller related that the helicopter was flying
over the Nanawale Forest Reserve, more than 500' from her residence, for one or two minutes.
Further related that the helicopter was in the general area for approximately 20 minutes.
