COUNTY OF ~IAWI`I STATE OF IIAWAI`I <br /> RESOLUTION NO. `I <br /> RESOLUTION CHANGING TIME ELEIIAENI` OI° ACLERK-STENOGRAPHER 1/2T TO 3/4T <br /> WHEREAS, Position no. 3239, Clerk-Stenographer1/2T, SR-09 of the Office of the <br /> Prosecuting Attorney has been given additional hours since January 1998, in order to process an <br /> increased volume of work generated by the Federal Violence Against Children (VAC); and <br /> WHEREAS, funding for VAC will end on July 31, 2001 but another federal funding source, <br /> Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) will continue to maintain the same number of counselors and their <br /> heavy workload; and <br /> WHEREAS, future VOCA funding appears to be stable and assures continuity of the VAC <br /> counselor as a VOCA counselor; and <br /> WHEREAS, by increasing the time element of this position from 1/2-time to 3/4-time, the <br /> present level of work will be properly maintained; and <br /> WHEREAS, that there are sufficient funds available in the Prosecuting Attorneys' Victims of <br /> Crime Act Regular Salaries and Wages account (010-271-5271.56-011). <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, ~E IT RESOLVED EY THE COUNCIL OE THE COUNTY OF HAWAII <br /> <br /> that Position No. 3239, Clerk-Stenographer 1/2T, SR-09, be changed to 3/4T. <br /> BE IT EURTFIER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be transmitted to the Office of the <br /> Prosecuting Attorney and to the Departments of Finance and Civil Service. <br /> <br />
