RE: Bi1138 Relating to the Operating Budget
It is the opinion of this office that the amendments requested to Bi1138,
Draft 3, as outlined in your memorandum dated June 1, 2001, specifically:
1. To increase the appropriation of federal funds for the Retired Senior
Volunteer Program by $3, 600.
2. To increase the appropriation of federal funds from the U.S.
Department of Labor for the Senior Employment Program by $351.
3. To add an appropriation of federal funds from School Food Service
for Summer Fun Program for $40,000,
are not substantial nor significant amendments to the budget such that this matter
would need to be laid over for one week to effect notice to the public.
