REPORT OF THE <br /> COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC WORKS & <br /> INTERGOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS <br /> <br /> DATE: May 15, 2001 RE: Communication No. 211 /Res No. 82-01 <br /> PLACE: Councilroom <br /> TIME: 9:05 a.m. <br /> Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations, to which was referred Communication No. 211 and <br /> attached Resolution No. 82-01 reports as follows: <br /> Communication No. 21 ]from Assistant Corporation Counsel Gerald Takase transmits for council consideration <br /> Resolution No. 82-01 accepting the dedication of Roadway Lot A ofthe Kohanaiki Industrial Park, Phase 1, From <br /> Kamaaina Eight Properties, LLC, Tax Map Key (3) 7-3-058:026. <br /> Resolution No. 82-01 states that the subject roadway is in acceptable condition for dedication and in full compliance with <br /> all subdivision and road improvement provisions set out in Chapter 23 of the Hawaii County Code. The resolution <br /> further explains that Kamaaina Eight Properties, LLC, has received final subdivision approval. Exhibit B delineating the <br /> roadway lot and a dedication deed are also attached to the resolution. <br /> A second draft of Resolution 82-O1, which added a transmittal resolve introduced by Councilmember J. Curtis Tyler III, <br /> was circulated at the meeting. After discussion, the Committee further amended Resolution 82-01, Draft 2 by including <br /> Kohanaiki Business Developers, LLC, in the third whereas clause of the resolution. The amendment was made to reflect <br /> <br /> the current owners of the nonpotable water easement. Kohanaiki Business Developers, LLC, purchased the project from <br /> Kamaaina Eight Properties, LLC, during the second phase of the project.
