ANDREWS, BERYL Y. IRAMINA, AND SHAWN M. NAKOA From Mayor Harry Kim, dated May 22, 2001, informing of the following appointments to the Committee on the Status of Women: Ms. Mary L. Andrews of Kamuela, is a 15-year resident of Hawaii, who is on the faculty of the University of Phoenix and is also a Realtor Associate with Clark Realty. She is a member of the Republican Party and is being reappointed to serve a term to end on December 31, 2004. (Continued on next page) HS&EDC-10 Page 2 June 19, 2001 Comm. 228: Ms. Beryl Y. Iramine of Hilo, is a lifelong resident of Hawaii, who (C'ontinued) is a warden at the Hawaii Community Correctional Center. She is a member of the Democratic Party and will replace Ms. Beth Ananda- Stout, whose term expired on December 31, 2000. She will serve a term to end on December 31, 2004. Ms. Shawn M. Nakoa, is a 28-year resident of Hawaii, who presently serves as a per-diem judge for the State of Hawaii, while also being an attorney for Strance and Nakoa, Attorneys at Law. She is a member of the Democratic Party and will replace Laurine K. Carvalho. She will serve a term to end on December 31, 2003. (NOTE: These appointrrcents do not require Council's confirmation.)
