Comm. 107: APPOINTMENT OF JANE RIGA TESTA AS COUNTY OF HAWAII
DIRECTOR OF RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
From Mayor Harry Kim, dated February 4, 2001, submitting for
confirmation the following appointment for Director of Research &
Development.
Ms. Jane Higa Testa, who, since 1980 to the present, has been
employed by the Hawaii County Office of Aging. Prior to this,
she worked for Honolulu Community College, the Kalihi
Y.M.C.A., and the Hawaiian Regent Hotel. In addition to her
employment with the County, she worked as a facilitator and
conducted strategic planning sessions for numerous community
and government organizations.

Comm. 107: If confirmed, Ms. Testa will serve a term co-terminous with
(Cont'd.) Mayor Kim, effective on February 16, 2001, and ending on
December 6, 2004. Her resume is attached for information.
Comm. 107.1: From Billie Keawekane, Island Representative, Alu Like, Inc., dated
February 6, 2001, writing in support of Ms. Jane Testa's confirmation as
Research & Development Director.
