Dear Mr. Yagong,
I recently received a copy of your proposed resolution to open Lihiwai Street between the
hours of 6:30 am and 10 pm on weekdays. I know that this would only be for a trial
period, but I strongly believe that this roadway should also be opened on weekends. ~y
my observations, more people utilize the park on weekends, rather than weekdays. I am
also in favor of closing Lihiwai Street during these late night hours.
Although I understand that this opening is only for a three month trial period, I would
like to know what factors will determine the final decision of the opening or closing of
Lihiwai Street.
