Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 94-01, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 94-01, transmitted by Director of Finance William T. Takaba, via
Communication No. 246, dated June 6, 2001, increases the time element for Position No. 3239,
Clerk-Stenographer from 1 /2 time to 3/4 time.
The Office of the Prosecuting Attorney wishes to increase the time element for the
aforementioned position as the Victim/Witness program has been given additional hours in order
to process an increased volume of work generated. by the Federal Violence Against Children
(VAC) grant.
Although funding for the VAC program will end in July, funds are available in the Prosecuting
Attorneys' Victims of Crime Act Regular Salaries and Wages account.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 94-01
and recommends its adoption.
