Subject: Bill to amend the Parks and Recreational Facility Schedule
Attached for consideration during your August 1, 2001 Parks and Environmental Management
Committee meeting is a bill to amend the Parks and Recreational Facility Schedule established
by Ordinance No. 00-15, relating to the naming of parks and recreational facilities. Your
favorable consideration of this bill will be greatly appreciated. There is strong public support for
the naming of this athletic field in honor of Clarence Lum-Won. The new name of the athletic
Meld will be Kona Scenic Park/Clarence Lum-Won Athletic Field.
