Mr. Chairman and Council Memisers:
I viewed the Ju4y 6, 2001 Council Session on the Public Cable Channel on Ju4y 11, 2001.
In that session, there were two different developers who voluntarily restricted the height
maximums in their development.
I was appalled at the attack on the developer's motives for voluntarily restrie:ting the rna~imur~i
heights for their coning. Root only were the developers unfair4y accused of not fat4owing so-
called good business practices, bui Councilrv~s~ber Curtis Tyler from Forth 4tona uses
questioned about his character and methods for bringing about a positive condition to the permit
process. 4f I were Councilrnensl~r Tyler, 4 doubt that I would have been able to hand9e the
situation in such a civilised manner.
Soth Councilmember Tyler and the developers were subjected to unwarranted harangue and
harassment in the process of agreeing to a condition that the community views as laudab4€;.
Councilmen7ber `fyler represents his district in a fair and equitable way. ~e should be given the
beneft of the respect he deserves.
fibs July C, 2001 Council Session proves the o4d saying, "IVo good deed wi41 go unpunished."
Sincerely,
~ I 4
