Subject: Additional Bus Fares to Section 18 of Hawaii County Code
Your assistance is requested in forwarding the following amendments to Section 18 of
the Hawaii County Code relating to bus fares, to the appropriate committee. Below is a
summary of the amendments:
1. Establish bus fare between Hawaiian Ocean View Estates and Kailua-Kona
The transit agency plans to implement bus service between the two districts to
provide transportation to individuals for employment, educational, and recreational
purposes.
2. Establish bus fare to Keahole from North and South Kona
The transit agency plans to implement bus service from North and South Kona to the
Kona airport.
