We are transmitting for the Council's review and consideration for acceptance a
copy of the above dedication deed, along with a resolution accepting the deed.
For your information, the deed has been reviewed by the Department of Public
Works, Department of Water Supply and the Planning Department and all have
recommended acceptance of the dedication deed, as evidenced by the letter copies
enclosed herewith. All subdivision improvements have been completed.
Upon acceptance of the above dedication deed, please send notification of such
acceptance to: (1) Thomas Yeh, Esq., 85 W. Lanikaula Street, Hilo, Hawaii 96720; (2)
William Takaba, Director of Finance, County of Hawaii; and (3) Ivan M. Torigoe,
Deputy Corporation Counsel, who will record the said deed with the Bureau of
Conveyances.

of Chapter 23, of the Hawaii County Code.

We have reviewed the subject deed and recommend dedication after correction is made
to the typo of the name Kaauhuhu (typed Kaauhunu on 8'h sentence of Exhibit "A").
Road Lot Q description and closure are acceptable.
The subject road widening improvements have been completed and inspected to County
of Hawaii standards and are in acceptable condition for dedication.
Copies of the inspection reports (2/5101, 2122/01 [2], 3123/01) are enclosed for the Council's
review.
