SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT
LIHIWAI STREET: Proposed l Omph speed limit. (One-way portion).
The Department of Parks and Recreation requests that a 10 mile per hour speed limit be
authorized along the one-way portion of Lihiwai Street.
We investigated this request and find that the proposed l Omph speed limit along this portion of
Lihiwai Street is reasonable and prudent.
We ask for your review and consideration for adoption of the subject amendment as described in
the attached draft for an ordinance. Should you have any questions, please contact Richard
Nishimura, Traffic Division Chief, at 961-8341.
