NAMING OF STREETS IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, STATE OF HAWAII.
WHEREAS, the Council of the County of Hawaii is authorized to adopt the street names of
unnamed roadways in the County of Hawaii pursuant to Section 22-35, Article 2, Chapter 22, Hawaii
County Code; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its regular meeting of July 20, 2001, approved the
names for the certain unnamed roadways within the Pu`alaea Subdivision, Hawaii; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that said roadway,
as indicated on Exhibit "A" of this Resolution, be named as follows:
Pu`alaea Place - after the land division, literally "ocherous earth hill"
Pu`alaea Lane - after the land division, literally "ocherous earth hill"
Dated at Hilo, Hawaii, this 12th day of September , 2001.
