RE: Kamehameha Park -District 9
Recently, the Hawaii County Planning Commission approved a Special Management Area Use
Permit for a development that will have as an option an easement located along side the above
park as its main access of travel. Information presently available for review does not adequately
address questions regarding traffic impact, easement ownership, maintenance or other concerns
raised by area residents. I am requesting your assistance in agendizing this matter for further
discussion and clarification of these issues. It also seems practical that representatives from
Planning Department, the Office of the Corporation Counsel and the Parks and Recreation
Department be asked to attend this same meeting.

assistance.
