SUBJECT: RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE KEALAKEHE DEMONSTRATION
WETLANDS PLANNING AND RESEARCH AGREEMENT WITH THE
UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR, BUREAU OF
RECLAMATION
We are submitting the attached proposed resolution for your review and consideration. The
proposed Agreement will allow the County to proceed with plans for developing constructed
wetlands to improve water quality, establish threatened and endangered species wetlands habitat,
contribute recreation benefits and provide water reuse opportunities for the local community's
benefit.
We ask for your consideration in adopting the subject ordinance. Should you have any questions,
