Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 78, reports as follows:
Bill No. 78, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication No. 277,
dated July 20, 2001, amends Ordinance No. 01-55, as amended, the Operating Budget, ending
June 30, 2002. The amendment is as follows:

To:
010-500-5513.67 Synchro Swim Competition General $9,500
These funds will be used to purchase the materials, supplies, and services needed for the 2001
U.S. Open Synchronized Swimming Championships which will be held at the Kona Community
Aquatic Center in Kailua-Kona.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 78 and
recommends it pass first reading.
