O~ <br /> R~~®~.UTI®N AUT~BORI~ING ~H~ ,~~CEPT~NC~ ~ ®®N~TI®N AN <br /> A?~JU~T~~~ ~~FIT'A,~~ ~A~K~~~ALL. ~oF~I~ATUS <br /> WHEREAS, the Piopio Bears Athletic Association has donated an adjustable portable basketball <br /> apparatus to the Department of Parks and Recreation; and <br /> WHEREAS, this adjustable portable basketball apparatus, with a total estimated value of $140, will be <br /> used by the children at the Pi`ihonua Gym; and <br /> WHIEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the Council, on <br /> behalf of the County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks & Recreation recommends the acceptance of this donation. <br /> NOW, TFIEREFORE, r~E IT RESOLVED BY TIME COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF IIiAWAI`I that in <br /> accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, the Council of the County of Hawaii <br /> accepts this donation. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVE® that a letter of appreciation be sent to Dennis Onishi, President, Piopio <br /> Bears Athletic Association, P.O.
