Re: Operating Budget
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating
additional Federal funding for.the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) and for
the Senior Community Services Employment Program. RSVP is receiving an additional
funding of $3,600 from the Corporation for National Service and the Senior Employment
Program is receiving $351 from the U.S. Department of Labor.

B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
Council action is needed to amend the Operating Budget to accommodate
increases in Federal funding. The RSVP Program is receiving additional
funding of $3,600.00 from the Corporation for National Service. The Senior
Employment Program is receiving $351 in additional from the U.S. Department
of Labor.
