O~ RESOLUTION AMEN®IN(a SALARY OR®INANCE NO. 01-59 fi0 CORRECfi fif-ffa ANNUAL SALARf~S s4NC ®ELEfiE fiHE HOURLY RAfiES FOR fif-fE COUNTY f3AN®S, TO fNCREASE THE SALARY SCALD Of` fife fVIH-~ AN® fVIH-5 CLASS, ANt~ 1°O INCRE,,~SE fiF°ff~ COMf~ENSAfifON FOR fif~E HAIIVAI`I COUNTY ~ANf~ ~3fRECTOR WHEREAS, Section 3-13, Hawaii County Charter, provides for interim amendments to the Salary Ordinance to be made by resolution; and WHEREAS, Section 3 (D) of Salary Ordinance 01-59 lists the salaries for the members of the Hawaii County Band and the West Hawaii County Band; and WHEREAS, Section 3 (D) of Salary Ordinance 01-59 needs to be amended to correct annual salary figures; to delete hourly rates that are not used in payroll calculations; and to increase the rates for pay grades MH-4 and MH-5 (West Hawaii Assistant Band Director and West Hawaii Band Director, respectively); and WHEREAS, Section 7 of Salary Ordinance 01-59 lists the classes of work and rates of compensation for persons employed by the County other than those whose pay is otherwise provided for; and WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation wishes to increase the compensation level of the Hawaii County Band Director from A-7 to A-9.
