SULPRIZIO TO THE HAWAII COUNTY PENSION BOARD From Mayor Harry Kim, dated August 1, 2001, submitting the following name for confirmation to serve on the Hawaii County Pension Board: Ms. Susan T. Sulprizio of Council District 5. Ms. Sulprizio is a 21-year resident of Hawaii and works at the Pahoa ' Elementary School at the Parent Community Networking Center and is also with the School Parent Involvement Association. She is a member of the Democratic Party. If confirmed, she will serve a term to expire on December 31, 2005. She will fill a vacancy created by the expiration of Ms. Ruth E. Walker's term. SANBORN TO THE HAWAII COUNTY SALARY COMMISSION From Mayor Harry Kim, dated August 1, 2001, submitting the following name for confirmation to serve on the Hawaii County Salary Commission; Mr. William J. Sanborn of Council District 9. Mr. Sanborn is a lifelong resident of Hawaii and is currently a Branch Manager for the HomeStreet Bank and Principal Broker for Mauna Kea Property Management on a part-time basis. He is a member of the Republican Party. If confirmed, he will serve a term to expire on December 31, 2004. The additional funds will be used to supplement the existing county budget.
