SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT-LIHIWAI STREET
PROPOSED IOMPH SPEED LIMIT (ONE-WAY PORTION).
The Department of Parks and Recreation requests that a 10 mile per hour speed limit be
authorized along the one-way portion of Lihiwai Street.
We investigated this request and find that the proposed l Omph speed limit along this section of
Lihiwai Street is reasonable and prudent.
Amendments to other sections and schedules are included with this proposal to clarify the traffic
code.
We ask for your review and consideration for adoption of the subject amendment as described in
the attached draft for an ordinance. Should you have any questions, please contact Richard
