SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT
ALI`I DRIVE: PARKING FOR LIFEGUARDS AT LA`ALOA BEACH PARK
The Department of Parks and Recreation requests parking spaces be provided along Ali`i Drive
fronting the La`aloa Beach Park (Magic Sands) for their lifeguards. The proposed parking spaces
will be situated directly behind the existing lifeguard tower. This will provide quick access to the
lifeguard's vehicles during emergencies.
We ask for your review and consideration for adoption of the subject amendment as described in
the attached draft for an ordinance. Should you have any questions, please contact Richard
