RESOLUTION AUTHORIZINCa THE ACCEPTANCE OF A IOAONETARY DONATION OF $400 TO
THE D~PARTIUIENI' OF PARI~CS & RECREATION
WHEREAS, the Girl Scouts attending the Korean-American Girl Scouts Friendship Camp have
donated $400 to be used towards the upkeep of the Korean Section of the Alae Cemetery, and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the
Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks & Recreation recommends the acceptance of this
donation.
NOW, THEREFORE, iT RESOUVED ~Y THE COUNCII.OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
that in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, the Council of the
County of Hawaii accepts the $400.
SE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation be sent to Ms. Jae Kwon Lee,
Founder, Korean-American Girl Scouts Friendship Camp, 2100 Date Street, #206, Honolulu, Hawaii
96826.
