Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 96, reports as follows:
Bill No. 96, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication No. 323,
dated August 28, 2001, amends Ordinance No. 01-56, as amended, the Capital Budget ending
June 30, 2002, by adding the following project:
PARKS AND RECREATION:
Volcano Park Multi-Purpose Playcourt 110-399-5590.30 $81,800
Funds for this project shall be provided from general obligation bonds, capital projects fund-fund
balance and/or other sources.
Funds for this project lapsed on June 30, 2001, but work has not been completed. Funds must be
reappropriated to the project.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 96 and
recommends it pass first reading.
