Dear Chairman Arakaki and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Mr. Vicente Tolentino of Council District 8, to the
Hawaii County Fire Board of Appeals. Mr. Tolentino is a 52-year resident of
Hawaii and is a retired captain from the Hawaii County Fire Department. He
currently is a referee for the Hawaii Police Athletic League (HIPAL), and coaches
at Kealakehe High School. Mr. Tolentino states that he is not affiliated with any
political party. If confirmed, he will serve a term to expire on December 31, 2004.
