The Office of Housing and Community Development {OHCD) submitted
a Resolution Authorizing the Director of Finance to Negotiate a
Lease for the Kiheipua Homeless Shelter to the East Hawaii
Coalition for the Homeless, Inc., to the Hawaii County Housing
Agency (HCHA).
The HCHA reviewed and approved the resolution at its meeting of
September 26, 2001, and voted as follows:
AYES: G. Safarik, L. Elarionoff, J. Jacobson,
B. Leithead-Todd, N. Pisicchio, J. Tyler, III,
D. Yagong - 7
NOES: none
ABSENT AND EXCUSED: J. Arakaki, A. Chung - 2
Accordingly, I am requesting that this resolution be included on
the Council agenda for action at its October 10, 2001, meeting.
