WHEREAS, Ms. Rose Ha`o would like to donate an Easy Ladder Portable Steps for use at the
Kawamoto Swim Stadium; and
WHEREAS, the portable steps, with an estimated value of $2,260.34, will provide a safer, easier entry
and exit from the pool for the patrons; and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the Council, on
behalf of the County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks & Recreation recommends the acceptance of this donation.
