WHIlREA~S, Mr. Tyler Peterson has donated three (3) Lady Amherst Pheasants to the Pana`ewa
Rainforest Zoo; and
WFi1=1~EAS, these pheasants, which have an estimated value of $135, will be used for educational and
display purposes; and
WH1=1@EAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the Council, on
behalf of the County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property; and
WFIhREAS, the Department of Parks & Recreation recommends the acceptance of this donation.

accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, the Council of the County of Hawaii
accepts this donation.
