Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 105, reports as follows:
Bill No. 105, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication No. 347,
dated September 11, 2001, amends Ordinance No. 01-55, as amended, the Operating Budget,
ending June 30, 2002. The amendment is as follows:

010-201-5219.81 Local Law Enforcement Block Grant General $109,994
These funds will be used to purchase eighty-six (86) computer workstations for use with the
proposed Records Management System. This will improve the quality and completeness of data
collected and should provide the uniformed field officers with enchanced investigative
capabilities.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 105 and
recommends it pass first reading.
