We are transmitting for the Council's review and consideration for acceptance a
copy of the above dedication deed, along with a resolution accepting the deed.
For your information, the deed has been reviewed by the Department of Public
Works, Department of Water Supply and the Planning Department and all have
recommended acceptance of the dedication deed. All subdivision improvements have
been completed. Also enclosed are copies of transmittals from the Department of Public
Works, Board of Water Supply and the Planning Department.
Upon acceptance of the above dedication deed, please send notification of such
acceptance to: (1) Crudele, De Lima &Shiroma, 101 Aupuni Street, PH 1014A,
Hilo, HI 96720; (2) Department of Public Works; and (3) Ivan M. Torigoe, Deputy
Corporation Counsel, who will record the said deed with the Bureau of Conveyances.

We have reviewed the subject deed forwarded by your memo dated September 21, 2001
and have the following comments:
Deed description is acceptable. A revised copy of the dedication location map is enclosed.
We have reviewed the subject deed and recommend that it be accepted by the Council
inasmuch as the subject road improvements, signs, markings, and streetlights have been
inspected and found to comply with the Department of Public Works' Standard Details, are
in acceptable condition for dedication, and are incompliance with the provisions of Chapter
23 of the Hawaii County Code to the extent applicable.
The Traffic Division (6/13/01) and the Highway Maintenance Division (7/18/01) have
inspected the roadway construction and theirwritten approvals are enclosed forthe County
Council's review as requested.

standards, are in acceptable condition for dedication, and in full compliance with the provisions

Council. The water system improvements were constructed to our standards. We have no objections
