Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication No. 363, reports as follows:
Communication No. 363, transmitted by Mayor Harry Kim, dated September 27, 2001,
nominates Mr. Vicente Tolentino of Council District 8 to serve on the Hawaii County Fire
Board of Appeals.
A resident of Hawaii for 52 years, Mr. Vicente Tolentino is a retired captain from the Hawaii
County Fire Department. He is currently a referee for the Hawaii Police Athletic League
(HIPAL) and coaches at Kealakehe High School. Of no political party affiliation, he will serve a
term to end December 31, 2004.
Your Committee on Finance recommends the confirmation of Mr. Vicente Tolentino to serve on
the Hawaii County Fire Board of Appeals.
