From Council Chairman James Y. Arakaki, dated November 5, 2001,
transmitting a copy of letter addressed to Public Works Director Dennis Lee,
from Al Cabral, Nancy Cabral and Paula Helfrich, dated October 30, 2001,
in which they comment on the hazardous road conditions on Alawaena
Street, Waiakea Uka, and seek County's support and consideration for a
comprehensive action plan to ensure area safety, security and public access.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
From Councilman Aaron Chung, dated November 7, 2001, informing he has
received numerous inquiries from community members regarding the status
of any clean-up efforts for the flood control channel running next to
Chiefess Kapiolani Elementary School. Therefore, requests, a presentation
by Dennis Lee, Director of Public Works, or his representative, regarding
the matter.
