Comm. 410: APPOINTMENT OF THE MEMBERS OF THE COUNTY'S ENVIRONMENTAL
MANAGEMENT COMMISSION TO SERVE AS THE SOLID WASTE ADVISORY
COMMITTEE
From Mayor Harry Kim, dated October 22, 2001, informing he has appointed the
members of the County's Environmental Management Commission to serve as the Solid
Waste Advisory Committee. This appointment is made to fulfill the requirements of
Section 342G-22 of the Hawai` i Revised Statutes, and pursuant to Section 4-4 of the
Hawaii County Charter.
This Committee reviews the County's Integrated Solid Waste Management Plan as it is
being developed, makes suggestions, and proposes any changes it deems appropriate
during the planning process.
Note: The members are: Mack S. Asato, Hugh Y. Ono, Samuel S. Kawamura, Barbara Bell, Lou Ann K. Jones, David
Kimo Frankel, Peter E. Martin, Carolyn A. Witcher and Riley W. Smith.
