Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 123, reports as follows:
Bill No. 123, transmitted jointly with Bill No. 124 by Director of Finance William Takaba, via
Communication No. 398, dated October 15, 2001, amends Ordinance No. 01-56, as amended, the
Capital Budget ending June 30, 2002, by adding the following project:
PUBLIC WORKS:
Ali`i Drive Road Improvement -Federal 110-399-5396.32 $320,000
Ali`i Drive Road Improvement -County 110-399-5396.33 $ 80,000
Funds for this project shall be provided from:
Federal Grants Receivable $320,000
Beautification Fund $ 80,000
Funds will be used to enhance the view plane and bicycle, pedestrian, landscaping and scenic
view improvements along Oneo Bay from Hualalai Road to Walua Road.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 123 and
recommends it pass first reading.
