Re: Capital Budget
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance adding the Ho'okena Beach Park Improvement project
for $125,000 to the Capital Budget. Lapsed funds from the prior appropriation will be used
to fund this reappropriation. This project will include upgrading of camping, pion-irking,
accessibility, and parking facilities; infrastructure upgrading; and renovation of the former
restroom building.

REQUEST:
CIP reappropriation ($125,000), entitled Ho'okena Beach Park, to
upgrade facilities at the beach park.
BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION:
The project will include upgrading of camping, picnicking,
accessibility, and parking facilities, infrastructure upgrading, and renovation
of the former restroom building.
Lapsed funds from the prior appropriation (Ordinance No. 99-34) will
be used to fund this reappropriation.
