Re: NACA Pre~~ram ~valus~tion Report
near Chairman Arakaki and Council Members:
1 have reviewed the evaluation report dated June 20C~1. I arrt against placira~ the responsibility
of anima! control under our already busy acid stressed police departga~enl. I feel that it would
detract from their' important job of policing our island and their response to emer$cr~y
situations. It evould also batrden dispatchers.
1 am in agreennent with the formation of an Anima.! Advisory Board.
Again, 1 do not feel that the problems cif i°iIFIS should be placed with 1-iawaii t:`ounty police
l3epartt~ent and urge you to think of other alternativys.
Sincerely,
