Dear Chairman Arakaki and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to renominate Mr. Peter Hoffmann, of Council District 9, to
succeed himself on fihe Hawaii County Transportation Commission. His current
term expires on December 31, 2001. Under Section 3-4 of the County Charter,
he is eligible to succeed himself. Mr. Hoffmann is a five-year resident of Hawaii
and has demonstrated integrity, diligence, and competence during his service on
this commission. Mr. Hoffmann is not affiliated with any political party.
If confirmed, he will serve a term to expire on December 31, 2006.
